Adam’s Peak, also known as Sri Pada, is a 2,243-meter (7,359-foot) conical mountain in central Sri Lanka revered by multiple religions. At its summit lies a sacred footprint-shaped rock formation, believed by Buddhists to be that of the Buddha, by Hindus as Shiva’s, and by Christians and Muslims as Adam’s or St. Thomas’s.
