Over Night Tour
Adam’s Peak, also known as Sri Pada, is a 2,243-meter (7,359-foot) conical mountain in central Sri Lanka revered by multiple religions. At its summit lies a sacred footprint-shaped rock formation, believed by Buddhists to be that of the Buddha, by Hindus as Shiva’s, and by Christians and Muslims as Adam’s or St. Thomas’s. Pilgrims from various faiths undertake a challenging ascent of over 5,000 steps, often at night, to witness the breathtaking sunrise and the mountain’s unique triangular shadow. Surrounded by the biodiverse Peak Wilderness Sanctuary, Adam’s Peak is both a spiritual beacon and a natural wonder.
